The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is the UK Governments' response to Article 8 of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive requiring all large enterprise to undertake a mandatory energy audit by 5th December 2015. Under this scheme, 90% of an organisation's energy use in buildings, process and transport must be accounted for.
